A Milestone In Peter Walker’s Career

Peter Walker, Chairman of NSR, is one of the permanent fixtures at Surrey County Show and 31st May this year marked his 40th consecutive year with the Show as part of the NSR team.

His achievements were recognised by the president of the Show, Lord Onslow, within his speech at the President‘s lunch on the day, in which Peter was thanked for his support and continuing professionalism in supplying the communications for the event.

The first combined Surrey County Show was held in 1954 and is the largest one-day show in the country, attracting over 40,000 visitors to the 60 acre Stoke Park venue.
