NSR Event Case Studies

Devon County Show

Devon County Show is one of the largest county shows in the UK welcoming thousands of visitors over three days in late spring each year at its home, the Westpoint Showground just outside Exeter.  NSR Communications has been involved with the event for many years supplying full PA and 2-tier commentary unit for the main arena plus PA coverage and commentary units for all the other outside arenas plus PA systems for all the indoor demonstrations.

Cosford Air Show

Each summer sees Cosford playing host to one of the UK’s most popular air shows, which welcomes in the region of 50,000 visitors in one day.  NSR has been providing sound and communications management for this event for the last ten years, which includes a full PA system and control unit plus 2 lines of speakers on the frontline and links to the local radio station.

Carol Service at St Paul’s Cathedral

Contracted by ADI Television, NSR Communications provided a full relay of the sound and vision from the cathedral for the three services performed in the run up to Christmas with the final service conducted on Christmas Eve, which had thousands of people viewing from Paternoster Square in addition to those seated within the church.

New Year’s Day Parade, London

NSR Communications has worked with the organisers of London’s New Year’s Day parade since its inception in 1987, providing and managing the complete sound and power requirements from the Ritz to Parliament Square, some 2.2 miles.
