NSR Supplies Sport Relief

In amongst a weekend of high profile fund raising for Sport Relief, which included one mile runs organised up and down the country, NSR was selected, by London based production company Limelight Sports, to provide the audio equipment for the Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile held in London on Sunday 21st March.

With only a small window of time for set-up between the roads closing at 7am and the first competitors arriving at 9am, NSR successfully set up a number of speaker systems along the route. The start line area was covered 140m before and 100m immediately after the start line in Westminster, also two DJ stations at Waterloo Bridge and Temple Place, a system at the finish line area that covered a distance of 100m, a distribution PA system beyond the finish line for collection of goodie bags as well as supplying megaphones for the course stewards for the duration of the event.

The last competitor completed the run at 3pm and by 4pm NSR had removed all their audio equipment allowing the roads to be reopened for business.
