It’s all been about the world of the horse for NSR this last couple of months as the equine calendar reached its climax – The Horse of the Year Show at the NEC (4th – 9th October), preceded by the 8-day Scope Festival in Stafford (28th August – 3rd September) and The Royal County of Berkshire Show in Newbury (15th & 16th September) and NSR team was there every step of the way.

The marathon 8-day show-jumping festival welcomed hundreds of show-jumpers from 6 to 60 years old who descending on the Stafford showground from all over the UK.  To ensure the event ran smoothly NSR was contracted to provide the timing equipment and PA systems for 1 indoor arena and 4 outdoor arenas as well as hand-held radios for the organisers, stewards and commentators during the Show.  It was a long 8 days but hugely satisfying.

If that wasn’t a big enough deal the NSR team then went onto to The Royal County of Berkshire Show, one of the last qualifying events for The Horse of the Year Show, which ran a lengthy programme of Showing classes as well as Show-jumping and scurry driving.  The Newbury Showground was the venue for this grand event and NSR provided an amazing 30 PA systems, 9 commentary boxes, timing equipment to 4 arenas and over 150 hand-held radios!

Two weeks later NSR were on site at the NEC installing PA systems for the Caldene Arena, the Stables and Horse Box parking areas in the NEC South car parks, the International and Caldene Arena collecting rings.  In addition to this microphones were supplied for the commentary team in the International Arena and 7 screens were installed in the riders lounge and the International collecting ring to provide live vision feeds and scores from the International Arena.
