A Busy Month

July has been a really busy month for NSR with teams covering all sorts of events including the Leuka Mini Masters Golf Tournament at Wentworth, the JP Morgan Corporate Challenge Run in Battersea Park and a Royal Ballet celebration of the arrival of the Olympians.

The Leuka Mini Masters Golf tournament, sponsored by Spotify, was held at the beginning of July at Wentworth Golf Club.  With a heap of sporting and television celebrities playing on the day the whole event had a really party atmosphere.  NSR was contracted to provide full PA and radio transmission systems covering the whole of the 9-hole course.  As their first foray into golf; the NSR team, as always, delivered an exceptional service and are now looking at expanding its interest in golf events within the UK and European circuits.

Later in the month NSR were back in Battersea to provide the communications systems for the JP Morgan event that took place on Wednesday 11th and Thursday 12th July.  As in previous years it was an exceptionally well attended event that went off without any technical hitches. If only the same could be said for the weather during that time!

With the Olympics now in full swing NSR were proud to be a part of the final stages of the build up to the opening ceremony.  A team from NSR set-up the relay out to a large screen outside the Lyric Theatre in Hammersmith on Monday 16th July that streamed a live performance by the English Royal Ballet to audiences across the country to celebrate the arrival of Olympians from outside Great Britain.  Hammersmith was just one of the large screens set up in many of the major cities around the UK.

Despite the appalling weather, July was a terrific success.  However, there’s no time to rest as the teams from NSR are now working hard to deliver another series of events during August.  Watch this space!
