A Star Studded Affair!

The UK’s very first Energizer Night Run was a star studded running event but not in the celebrity sense! 

This unique event in April took place in Battersea Park after sunset.  With lights everywhere, competitors took part in either a 5km or 10km run which culminated in an unforgettable after-party beneath a star studded ceiling!

With 2500 runners taking part communication was key and with NSR, one of the best teams in the business, in charge of the sound and communication there was no doubt the evening was going to be a hit.

The NSR team was contracted to provide a speaker system consisting of 12 speakers for both the start and finish lines of the race as well as a myriad of equipment for the Evolution Structure area that would play host to the after-party.  This included speaker systems for the external and internal DJ stations, which consisted of DJ audio mixers, Two DJ CD Players and DJ Monitors, PA systems for the Bandstand and Entrance plus audio feeds to the House PA, and also included  handheld and headset radio microphones.

After an extraordinarily successful first year, the date has already been set for 2014 and the NSR team is looking forward to being a part of this lightening event again next year.
