Following swiftly on from the floodlit Rugby Sevens it seems the NSR team got a taste for being night owls.  Joining Limelight Sports they provided a complete communications package for the night-time Nike running event that was not just about health and fitness but also about the empowerment of women.

Thousands of female runners came together on Saturday 10th May to kick-off this year’s Nike ‘We Own the Night’ Race Series in London’s Victoria Park and NSR was on hand to make sure the event had a real party atmosphere.  The NSR team installed a stage PA system of EAW SB1000 subs and EAW 850 tops to give good high energy sound.  In addition to this they supplied a delay stack bringing out the best of the DJ who used NSRs pioneer CDJs.  Not satisfied with just the stage system NSR provided 500 metres of high quality coverage for the start and finish line system. This area consisted of Nexos and EV speakers, plus units; double-deckers for production bad event control and an all round glass unit for security.

It was an event worth running for as women from all over the country came and ‘claimed the night’ with a great sense of camaraderie and fun.  Following the success of the first series in 2013, this year’s event was bigger, noisier and more than worthy of a sprint to the finish line.
