Something Different in NSR’s Portfolio

NSR provides communications services for a very diverse range of events and recently they added the UK’s largest forestry, woodland and arboriculture exhibition to their portfolio.

If you are interested in trees and timber then APF 2014 was the place to be with over £30 million and 2 miles of working machinery and equipment on show by a collection of 270 exhibitors.  However, it was so much more than just an exhibition as there were many additional displays that added to the excitement of the event.  These included The Husqvarna World 25m pole climbing championships, horse logging demonstrations, the A W Jenkinson and UPM Tilhill European Chainsaw Carving Championships, the UK Forwarder driving championships and a series of interesting seminars by the Forestry Commission.

Over the three days of the event NSR provided the PA for the pole climbing arena with hand held and head set mics.  A further PA system was set up for the woodwork craft arena, also with radio mics. Plus full PA systems for the two seminar theatres where, in addition to radio mics used for Q&A, the chairman and speaking panel were provided with table top microphones to address the audience.

It was a hugely successful event for the whole family and the NSR team were proud to be a part of its success.
